Terms of sale

This is a translation; the French version is the legally binding one.

Scope. These terms govern the sale, by The KRB Company, of a license to use Namer, a macOS app, to consumers. Placing an order means accepting them.

Trial. Namer is a free download from this site and allows 20 renames before purchase. Requirements: macOS 26 or later, Mac with Apple silicon.

Price. €4.99 including all taxes, one-time purchase, no subscription. The price that applies is the one shown when you order.

Payment. Payment happens on the secure page of our provider Stripe. No card data is sent to or stored by the publisher.

Delivery. Your license key is shown right after payment, on the confirmation page. No email is sent: keep it. If you lose it, write to contact@getmynamer.com from the address used at checkout.

License. The purchase grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license, usable on all the buyer’s Macs. The key must not be shared or resold. Updates published on this site accept the same key at no extra cost.

Right of withdrawal. Namer is digital content supplied without a physical medium. Under article L221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code, by confirming payment you expressly request immediate delivery of the license key and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once it is delivered. For any issue, write to contact@getmynamer.com.

Warranty. The legal guarantee of conformity for digital content applies (French Consumer Code, art. L224-25-12 et seq.).

Mediation. If a dispute cannot be settled with the publisher, you may refer it free of charge to the consumer mediator: being appointed.

Governing law. French law.

Personal data

App. Namer analyses your files only on your Mac. The app has no network entitlement: no file, name or statistic is ever sent.

Website. No cookies, no analytics. The host keeps technical connection logs for security.

Purchase. Stripe processes payment data (name, email, payment method) to carry out the sale. Your email is included in the license key, which stays with you.

To access, correct or erase your data, write to contact@getmynamer.com. You may also complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr).

The Namer app, this website and their content belong to the publisher. Example file names were produced by Namer from fictional files.
